One year since the signing of the Association Agreement, the Republic of Moldova woke up in a situation with several shortcomings that seriously affect the implementation of measures of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement. Some of them are: corruption; justice; banking sector; external funding; lack of visible positive effects. In this article, we present a list of shortcomings and challenges and then draw some fundamental conclusions. Finally, in order to boost the process of applying the provisions of EU-Moldova Association Agreement, we propose some recommendations to the Government to be invested. At the same time, we would like to share a series of recommendations for the European Union and the development partners in Moldova.
