The complexity and multi-dimensionality of the necessary and opportune changes in public administration, in general, and in public management, in particular, stimulated the undertaking of an analysis regarding the impact of the “new public management” on the system of public administration from the Republic of Moldova. The article is structured into 5 parts in order to emphasize both, on the distinctive aspects, and on the impact derived from the fundamental values and principles of the “new public management”.
