Oportunitatea şi importanţa teoretico-practică a asigurării calităţii învăţământului This article outlines the problem of the opportunity of quality education, being treated in the logic of “quality of education - quality of man - quality of life”. There are revealed the dimensions of educational quality, its ensuring as planning and potential. They are treated from the point of view of qualitology, by levels. There are distinguished three approaches (pedagogical, quality management, multidisciplinary theory). There are made attempts to bring up the problem of developing the educational quality concept in pre-university institutions.
