Essence and main characteristics of administrative services The article analyses the formation of the conceptual basis of the definition of ,,service” and ,,administrative service”. In particular, the characteristics that most distinguish services from manufactured goods are revealed. The main features and characteristics of administrative services are identified. It is noted that the issues of providing public services to the population are included in the legislation of the European Union.
