Economic diplomacy requires application of technical expertise that analyze the effects of a country’s (Receiving State) economic situation on its political climate and on the sending State’s economic interests. The Sending State and Receiving State, foreign business leaders, as well as government decision-makers, work together on some of the most cutting-edge issues in foreign policy, such as technology, the environment, and HIV/AIDS, as well as in the more traditional areas of trade and finance. Versatility, flexibility, sound judgment and strong business skills are all needed in the execution of Economic Diplomacy. International and Domestic economic issues. Gândirea diplomatică în Orientul Antic The most important knowledge about early diplomacy are coming from the Middle East, the Mediterranean, China and India. During this time the diplomacy had an itinerant character. The ambassadors, diplomats, were sent to declare war, to conclude peace treaties, alliances or trade agreements. During this period there were diplomatic documents, transactions and diplomatic actions. But there were no notion of ambassador or resident diplomat, very precise rules. În funcţie de constituţia şi legislaţia internă a fiecărei ţări, competenţa în formularea şi în aplicarea politicii externe revine, într-un grad mai mare sau mai mic, şefului statului, guvernului, şefului guvernului, parlamentului, Ministerului Afacerilor Externe şi altor instituţii guvernamentale speciale. -
Promovarea resurselor soft power în relația dintre Statele Unite ale Americii și Republica Moldova Articolul se axează, în mod primordial, pe reflectarea rolului puterii soft în diplomația Statelor Unite ale Americii prin evidențierea aspectelor definitorii ale puterii soft, analiza dimensiunilor și resurselor puterii soft și a relațiilor bilaterale dintre Statele Unite ale Americii și Republica Moldova. Conceptul de soft power este un concept relativ nou în literatura de specialitate și tot mai des utilizat atât sub aspect teoretic cât și practic, în relațiile internaționale, ceea ce explică actualitatea și necesitatea cercetării acestuia. -
Diplomația internațională în contextul actual al globalizării Instrumentul principal de punere în aplicare a interacțiunii statului cu alte entitați din câmpul relațiilor internaționale, precum și mijlocul principal de canalizare a oportunitaților generate de globalizare ramâne a fi diplomația. Diplomația întotdeauna a simțit necesitatea adaptarii la rigorile din viața politica internaționala, fiind și ea influențata de însuși fenomenul globalizarii.
